My dear friends Tim and Pam have done a lot of work putting together a benefit on my behalf for week after next. It will be held at the Rail Station Bar and Grill in South Minneapolis.
Here is a copy of the letter that has been sent out to businesses seeking donations for the raffle and silent auctions as well as a copy of the poster (click on the image of the poster in order to enlarge it for easier reading).
If you are interested in attending or know of anyone we can contact for donations of prizes, please do not hesitate to contact Pam. She and my roommate Tim have been working very hard to make this a success.

On October 17, 2009 the Rail Station Bar and Grill in South Minneapolis will be hosting a benefit for my roommate, Mr. James (Jim) McPherson. Jim has been fighting lung cancer for several years and the medical expenses have become overwhelming.
As a member of the benefit committee, I am asking businesses if they are able to make a donation for the silent auction. Any contribution is welcomed. If you are able to display the poster it would be greatly appreciated.
